About Ryan McGinnis
By the time I was a 10 year old, I picked up one of my dad’s cameras and started messing with it. I instantly became obsessed. From an elementary student to a young high-schooler, I shot creative short films with whatever equipment I could find. Editing videography became my second nature.
When I was 18, I finally had the savings to purchase my own high-end, professional videography and photography equipment. I was able to branch out into different fields: documentary, wildlife, advertisement, and weddings. In November of 2013, I won best film and most viral video for the “Everett Film Contest”, where I promoted the city of Everett. I spent over a year practicing balance with my steadicam. Meanwhile I learned my Canon DSLR and camcorder inside and out. I grew a huge love for people.
I branched into landscape photography in 2013, in which sparked a burning passion. Showing the beauty of the world is now my mission.
